Ordering
It is quick and easy to order any product. All major credit cards are accepted. Purchase Orders are accepted from larger organizations.
- On-line: You can safely and quickly order on-line. The order entry page which requests your personal information and credit card number uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) to encrypt all information from your browser to the credit card company. Your information is never exposed on the Internet. When you reach the order entry page, you may notice that your IE or Netscape browser turns on its "lock" to indicate that the connection is secure.

NOTE: VEDIT can be ordered as a "download only", or as a complete package with CD-ROM and printed manuals. When ordering a complete package, you can, of course, also download the software and start using it immediately. The manuals can also be downloaded as Adobe .PDF files. VEDIT requires a serial-registration-number to activate the product, otherwise it runs as a trial version for up to 30 days. The order confirmation page will include a serial number. For other products, e.g. the EBCDIC conversion packages, we will email you the software after processing your order; typically within a few hours during normal business hours. Or call us if you need it faster.
Credit Cards: We accept VISA, MasterCard (EuroCard), Discover and American Express. Please be sure to enter your complete credit card number, including the expiration date.
Purchase Orders: Written Purchase Orders are accepted from US and Canadian organizations and their European affiliates but are subject to final approval before shipment is made. Selected international organizations may also pay by purchase order. Please contact us regarding terms, pricing, etc. If paying by check, please make funds available in US Dollars and preferably from a US Bank.
Site Licensing
NETWORK PRICING: The economical 5-User Pack includes licensing for 5 simultaneous users. The users can be "stand alone" or on a network; software can be installed on each workstation or on the network server. Two complete sets of printed documentation are included. Additional 5-User Packs are priced the same as the first one; however 5-Users packs (25 users) can be purchased for the price of four. As an added bonus, purchase of a 5-User pack will include a VEDIT macro for converting "packed" EBCDIC files to ASCII at no additional charge.
SITE-LICENSE PRICING: The single-user VEDIT versions are licensed for operation by one user at a time. Organizations with multiple user can purchase additional licenses at a discount or economical "5-User Packs". For special quantity pricing please contact us directly.
NOTE: Quantity 1-4 site license prices are not in effect until customer has purchased one copy of the current release of the software at list price. Older releases may be updated at a reduced price. "Complete Package" includes printed documentation and disks. Quantity price determined on per-title basis. Price are non-cumulative. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Technical Support
Unlimited (within reason) technical support by telephone (734-426-7510) is provided free of charge for one year to all registered users. We also give technical support via FAX (734-426-7510), e-mail ( ), and through our extensive web site (www.vedit.com).
Users will also benefit by providing us with their most current e-mail address so that we may send them our monthly on-line newsletter and other significant announcements.
Software Subscription Plan (SSP)
The best way to benefit from our continuous VEDIT development is by subscribing to the "Software Subscription Plan (SSP)". Under this plan you receive 24 months of unlimited (within reason) support, and a minimum of 24 months of updates, including at least one major update. All software will be available for downloading from our web site.
Both registered users and SSP members may request passwords ( ) for respective updates during normal business hours. Users outside North America will receive future documentation in ".pdf" unless otherwise requested.
Shipping
Items labels as "Download" have no shipping charge.
Orders are normally processed within 24 hours and sent UPS ground. Allow 7 days for UPS group delivery. UPS Blue delivers within 2 days. UPS Red delivers overnight. For orders outside the United States please 10 to 14 days delivery time. Shipping charges are approximations and are subject to vary according to weight, destination, and method of delivery. The minimum shipping charge is $6.
Greenview Data, Inc. reserves the right to assess any "reasonable" and additional shipping charges; e.g. shipping to some countries and Islands may occur additional charges. We will attempt to contact you if the shipping charges are higher than posted on our web site.
Money-back Guarantee
Since the first VEDIT was sold back in 1980, we have been devoted to customer support and satisfaction. We are confident that you will be very satisfied with our software. However, if you are not, you may return it within 30 days for a full refund of the software price. This applies to the VEDIT Family editors and V-SPELL Note: Returns must be issued a "RMA" before refund is honored. Written custom macros by Greenview Data are not refundable.
